While there may normally not be events specifically catered to antiques, you never know what you may find at the shops listed to the left. There are also Monthly Art Walks in downtown Charleston that take you through some of the best local art galleries, that may have their own antique items for sale in them.
Charleston has been visited in the past by PBS’s Antiques Roadshow, in 2014 they found a painting by Edward Beyer, that they valued at $250,000. Three episodes were made from the time the show spent in Charleston.
Come to the Mound Arts & Crafts Festival, held every year at the Mound in South Charleston, WV. This is a perfect event to go to and check out the Mound Antique Store, and South Charleston Antique Mall.
