All ages are welcome to learn this traditional form of social dance. Live music by “Entwyned,” calling by Ken Gall. Introduction lesson begins at 6:45 pm. Contra dancing is like square dancing in long lines. Each dance is taught before the music begins. Fun for the whole family, for couples or singles–no need to bring a partner. Also includes round dances, waltzes and squares.
Free admission for new dancers, AmeriCorps members, children under 13.
