Hayley Mitchell Haugen holds a Ph.D. in 20th Century American Literature from Ohio University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Washington. She is currently an Associate Professor of English at Ohio University Southern, where she teaches courses in composition, American literature, and creative writing. Her chapter book “Light & Shadow, Shadow & Light” is her first full-length collection. “What the Grimm Girl Looks Forward To” poems have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Rattle, Slant, Spillway, Chiron Review, and many other journals. She edits Sheila-Na-Gig
online and Sheila-Na-Gig Editions.
Ace Boggess is the author of four books of poetry, most recently “I Have Lost the Art of Dreaming It So”, “Ultra Deep Field” , and the novel “A Song Without a Melody”. His writing has appeared in Harvard Review, Mid-American Review, River Styx, and many other journals. He received a fellowship from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and has spent five years in a West Virginia prison.
Matthew Wolfe’s writing has appeared in Newsweek, Writer’s Digest, Yellow Medicine Review, Animus, Motif, and The Chaucer Review, to name a few. He was the recipient of the 2005 West Virginia Artist Fellowship for his memoir writing. That project resulted in his 2017 book “The Way It Was”. Wolfe, a life-long Gemini, has also published his screenplay “HeartBeat” a proper script based on his 2001 novel of the same name. He is currently at work on a three-book project “The Mystery Tour Trilogy” about his recent travels across North America, including trips to Key West, Florida, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Fairbanks, Alaska. His most recent book “Ms. Scrooge” is a 21st century retelling of the Charles Dickens holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” released in November. Wolfe is a part-time time traveler.
